One Of The Most Effective Homemade Acne Treatments: Baking Soda For Acne

Baking soda for acne is one of the best homemade acne treatments because it’s so cheap and effective. All you need are to readily available ingredients that will cost you next to nothing and they’re great for controlling breakouts.

One ingredient is water that you can get right from your sink. If your water doesn’t come out of the faucet clear, you might look into using bottled water instead. Otherwise, you’re good to go.

By now I’m sure you’re aware that the second ingredient is baking soda. You know, that stuff you used to make your volcano explode when you were little! Do yourself a favor, though. If the only box of the stuff you have is the moldy brick in the back of the fridge, buy a new one.

Now I love this homemade acne treatment because it’s so effective and it’s wicked cheap! To be fair, you might want to use this in conjunction with apple cider vinegar to maintain the pH levels of your skin, but I don’t think this step is totally necessary. I use it, but I’ve seen excellent results without it.

I’m assuming that if you’ve read this far, you’ve already gained all the necessary skills to apply this to your face. All you have to do is mix up a little bit of the baking soda for acne and some water. Then just apply it to your face. While some homemade acne treatments require that you leave it on for the maximum benefit, you can rinse this off as soon as you’ve finished applying it. For best results, just let it sit for about a minute and you’re good to go.

That’s all there is! Baking soda for acne, like all other homemade acne treatments, is super cheap. One box will run you a whopping dollar. Take the other $39 dollars you would have spent on a useless cream and do whatever you like with it.

While baking soda for acne and other homemade acne treatments are great for controlling acne breakouts, they’ll never make you totally acne free. These solutions can only be applied to the skin which will never cure the problem that begins inside of your body.

To truly be free of your acne problems, you have to avoid trigger foods and other causes that cause your body to go haywire. Some of the more common triggers are vegetable oil, processed flours, and red meats. A body in need will tell you by causing acne. When you pay attention to those needs, you will finally be free of acne.
